About Me

happyhugo and or Norman F Hewes: I have had a varied work history in my life. Farming, mechanic, factory supervisor, woodworking, and collecting assorted items. I grew up and went to school in Wilmington, VT. I never go anywhere without a book to pass the time while waiting. Westerns being my first love. Reaching the age of seventy, I decided to try stringing a few words of my own together. Several of the stories posted have Brattleboro,VT for the settings. I started posting on the internet in 2009 and have had a good measure of success, receiving feedback from many countries and with over 1,000,000 downloads to date. ----------------------------- I'd like to thank and remember my wife for the editorial assistance she gave me until she passed away. Behind every man, it is said, there is a good woman. She was that!
